It's the memories. I can remember catching landlocked salmon in Yukon lakes and having them in the frypan 10 seconds after they were off the hook! And picking and eating wild strawberries on the move as I climbed up through mountain meadows in the Himalayas. Gourmand food from a great chef triggers thoughts like that :-)
So true... still remember the fresh shrimps fished in greek west and trachana soup by my grandmother with original feta, when I was 5 yrs old..if you havent tasted real tomato, how to tell its fresh...?
