Pokémon HeartGold y Pokémon SoulSilver -Review

Hello friends, today I bring you a review of one of my favorite video games, it is Pokémon HeartGold and Pokémon SoulSilver.

Pokémon has had enormous success in the videogame and anime industry. Game Freak and Nintendo have had great success in terms of the Pokémon videogame saga; Currently the Pokémon saga has 16 titles.

Pokémon HeartGold and Pokémon SoulSilver, both versions are a remake in honor of the tenth anniversary of the release of the Pokémon Gold and Silver versions of 1999.

Pokémon HeartGold and Pokémon SoulSilver is an RPG game developed by Game Freak and distributed by Nintendo in 2009, the combined sales of the two versions reached 12.67 million putting the title as one of the best sold games of the Nintendo DS console.

The Adventure in Pokémon HeartGold and Pokémon SoulSilver tells us the adventures in the Pokémon world by Gold / Ethan the male avatar, and Lyra the female avatar.

The player will stand at the feet of his chosen avatar and undertake his own Pokémon adventure through the Jotho Region, Thanks to Prof.Elm which will give us our first initial Pokémon which can be Cyndaquil (Fire type), Totodile (Type water) and Chikorita (Plant type), And next to them will travel by Jotho, training and living fantastic combats with your Pokémon companion.

We will see characters like your Rival, Professor Oak, the mythical gym leaders, the evil team, the Rocket Team that is back on its feet and many more.

Much more could be told about this game, but it is better to experience it for yourself and thus live your own Pokémon adventure!

The graphics that we can observe in this video game are common for a console like the Nintendo Ds: it has animated sprites, buildings rendered in 3D, effects in various environments of the environment. A little outdated for the times that are running, but tremendously striking and well designed.

Personally, I like those little details in the design of the game like the movement of the plants through the air, the rain and the movements of your Pokémon companion that accompanies you throughout the course of the story

Generally the Pokémon games have a simple but very entertaining gameplay, Pokémon HeartGold and Pokémon SoulSilver have a small but very important details about the time to play and that detail is that the Pokémon that you carry first in your team will accompany you in your adventure, small detail that the other deliveries of the franchise do not possess, to me personally I like Pokémon a lot and being able to take a Pokémon by my side at all times gives me great pleasure and motivates me to focus more on the story of the game.

In this game we can capture a great variety of Pokémon that are distributed in the different routes of the game, I advise to capture Pokémon of several attributes, in order to have a balanced team when fighting against other coaches.

In the early stages of the game, it is best to beat the different Pokémon and coaches that you can find in the different routes, since with that you will gain experience points to level up the Pokémon (in order to learn new attacks and little little by little improving your Pokémon team) and get money that will help you buy items like potions for your Pokémon in the store.

In Pokémon HeartGold and Pokémon SoulSilver you can find Pokémon that is not in the other version.

Beyond the main objective of the game is the Pokeatlón, it is a series of mini-games that you can play with your Pokémon that require certain capacities of these (Resistance, Strength, etc. that vary depending on the species).

Pokémon HeartGold and Pokémon SoulSilver have for my taste the best soundtrack among all Pokémon games, as in all Pokémon video games it has remakes of old themes from previous Pokémon videogames.

The soundtrack has specific themes for each circumstance in the game, as frightening themes in moments of high tension, relaxing themes in moments of calm, among others.

Without a doubt this was the videogame of the Pokémon saga that I enjoy the most and it is my favorite videogame, Pokémon HeartGold and Pokémon SoulSilver without a doubt is everything that could have been requested of a remake of the classic Game Boy Color titles. I recommend it 100%.
