So, we added a microtasks specialized editor to steemgigs.org and a display column for 'open microtasks' on our homepage.

In  this early stage of steemgigs development, we have kept everything basic, so that we can relaunch steemgigs.org really soon. This means that the microtask editor is still basic.

We will working on optimization and the 'building of functionalities' after  steemgigs.org is relaunched.

Yes, a core aspect of the steemgigs ecosystem is the microtasks economy. Why is this? Especially because, on steemgigs.org, 'everyone has something to offer'. Whether you an expert or a non-expert, you have a home on steemgigs.org; "you will be able to offer something!"

Creating microtasks allows clients to create simpler task requests, giving even non-experts an opportunity to participate in the gig economy. Overall, this helps non-experts to have a chance at honing their skills,  gaining confidence, building relationships etc, while earning rewards too.

It up-builds the social aspect of steemgigs.org, stem connections and further unveils the depth-in-beauty of the steem community. 

Besides, it helps grow steem! Users who aren't steemians yet can join steemgigs.org for the sole aim of  participating in microtasks.

There is more......being that microtasks usually involve smaller payments, the presence of a microtasks economy on steemgigs.org enables us highlight an amazing aspect of steem called 'pay with vote'.

And why should a client want to create a microtask? Well, where you can not find the exact gig that meet your needs; where you don't have a large budget to foot a service just yet, you can build aspects of your dream by creating a microtask. A microtask can take different forms. In most cases, participants are  required to carry out a simple action e.g join a telegram, subscribe to your YouTube, leave a feedback on your posts, send a tweet etc You can pay with SBD, Steem, Steem Power, the teardrops token or with 'a Steem Upvote'.

We have kept the microtask editor basic for now. Users can create a microtask right on steemgigs.org/create_microtasks

In the coming days, i will be looking to publish a 'paper', for ulogs.org,  steemgigs.org & @macrohard, explaining each project. Then, i will go on to publishing a mini 'colorless paper' for the teardrops SMT, covering 'the now'.

The teardrops token is also currently on steem-engine but only a small portion of it was issued and on the steem-engine market to help us gain insight into the 'dynamics of the tokens on an exchange'.
