RE: Dear Steemians From now on you can ask for upvotes every 12 hours in the Promotion room of Steemgigs on Discord
Does a post need to be part of a contest to use one of the tags? If not which tag makes the most sense for a general post? Think it might help others if there was a simple user guide for those new to untalented.
Tried looking around the forums and really couldn't understand what I was looking at. Went into FAQ (which to me should be a document style and locked from new comments) and there is just to much cluttered chat in there to find anything of use. Maybe I'm missing it, but if I am guessing there are others just as confused.
If I figure it all out I'd be happy to help create, edit, or maintain this guide to help the project...but obviously need to understand it first.
Regarding the Steemgigs tag you will have to follow the rules
Steemgigs is basically freelance work
I will drop you the link for both of the tags
However you can use the #Untalented and #steem-untalented at any of your posts it does not need to be part of the contest necessarily but it has to be a good/decent post
Mistakes are allowed anyway, no one will judge you for them especially @surpassinggoogle
Now it does not mean that using the #Untalented means that you will receive upvotes continuously
Basically untalented is more like a family on Steemit.com
We all have the responsibility of Upvoting each other's work if we like it
You can check the #Untalented contests entries and you will see that all of them have been upvoted by @surpassinggoogle And you can learn about it more by reading a few entries
Using the tags you are actually calling @surpassinggoogle and he will check your post
Because he is always checking who is posting under the #Untalented
Sounds good. Will try using the tag and spread the word as I post. Busy time of year for me, but plan to attempt at least a couple posts per week.

#untalented is a branch of @steemgigs. If you would like to offer your service in building the dreams of other steemians, you can do so under #steemgigs.
However, if you want to experience full blown freedom and grow in confidence about your gifts and talents, share under #untalented.
We aim to create historical moments in the genre of touching lives and you can support us if you desire, by voting on steemgigs for witness. Simply click here

Just incase you find any level or form of gifts, talents, attempts at out-of-the-boxness, or any steemian low in confidence about their abilities, worth, etc; please don't let it slip emptily by.
Kindly call on me! Simply reply to any such post and add @steem-untalented or #untalented to your reply and i will be there to upvote, acknowledge, strengthen and encourage them.
Not necessarily. But you can use the #steemit-untalented tag and it is not necessary to be the first tag.
Good to know. So that tag is ok on general posts which in turn will draw extra attention to the efforts anyways. Think I need to create a footer in which a mention is given on each post to help spread the word.
