It is a smart motion sensor by Philips which controls the Hue lights automatically. You can place the sensor anywhere in your home as it is battery powered and completely wireless. Simply walk by to trigger your lights.
Motion sensor is powered by a battery, so no wires are required and it can be installed anywhere in the home.
The sensor do not turns on the lights in the day time. It will only turn them ON in the darkness of night.
You can easily change the light sensitivity in the Philips Hue app, so the sensor only triggers when you need that bit of extra light.
