Yes. If you decide to pop a nice bottle of red next time you're in Lisbon, know that the cork from your purchase could go to building a couch... and a beautiful art deco one at that!
Not only is reusing premade cork an awesome idea but the use of cork in itself is important because it can be harvested from plants without damaging them!
Soo what I'm saying is ALL CORK EVERYTHING!

@dayleeo another cool hunt from you. From the beautiful couch, nothing is waste in a wine bottle; wine for consumption,the bottle to be recycled and used again and now the cork to make furniture.

This is one of the nicest looking pieces of furniture I've ever seen that's made from recycled materials. It would actually rank pretty well in terms of attractiveness among non-recycled furniture too.
i think it looks coozy and comfortable as heck- it also makes me wonder if its relatively light and could be use in a modular home setup because cork is such a lightweight material :D Id totally cozy up in this chair with a book at night :D @elementm

This is exquisite, comfy eco-friendly sofas built with wine cork. This will definitely be comfortable just as the wine makes one feel good.

Another beautifully designed, and eco-friendly product. One of my biggest gripes with recycling is that most of the time, the repurposed/recycled product still looks like trash, so you'd still end up throwing them away. At least this one looks, good. Like Dali's lip couch. Great find.
