MiJia Honeywell Smoke Detector
It is a cool smart battery driven device used as fire alarm as well as indoor air pollution detector.
It can be used with or without gateway. Gateway is another smart tool with inbuilt speaker and an LED. Speaker acts as alarm.
How to use
- Fix smoke detector to any wall.
- Also fix gateway to wall in an electric plug.
- Install Mi home app from play store. in Mi home app number of smart devices are listed. Look for smoke detector and configure it.
- Configure gateway with mi home app and it will beep.
- Set the sensitivity of smoke detector to desired level.You will get three options in installed app
- No smoke area.
- Small amount of smoke area.
3.Above normal amount of smoke.
- On detecting smoke, smoke detector will show red light and gateway will ring.
- Also you will receive notification on your phone even if you are outside of your home.
