Hunter's comment

I decided to share this wonderful all with you today.

Nigerian Food Recipe.

From the name Nigerian food recipe is an app that was made to teach people how to cook Nigerian dishes.

I found out about this app from a foreign Friend. I never knew the app existed but found out after my friend who loves Nigerian dishes told me about it.

There are a lot of things to like about the app part from the fat that it teaches you how to cook delicious dishes.

  • the app file is not large and does not consume space

  • it does not consume data

  • it is self explanatory with pictures

  • the app covers dishes from all tribes

  • another amazing things is it also shares a little history about any dish to be prepared

  • it also teaches how to make Nigerian drinks like zobo

  • there are over 60 recipes to learn

  • there are YouTube links at the end of each recipe which makes it more easier to Learn.

  • local and English name of Ingredients well listed out

This app will be very be very useful to people that like to eat food from other countries. It will enable them to cook it themselves in their homes and at their convenience.

So I think this app will be worth its download.

I hope you enjoy it.

pros:
• lightweight and easy-to-use apps
• many recipes are available

cons:
• may be added cuisine from other countries

Hi @ewuoso,

Thanks for yet another hunt. Sadly enough I can not approve it as the app itself is merely a static directory of content. Additionally, recipe apps are very old a niche already.

Also, it seems from the description the app covers less than 100 recipes. In this day and age of large recipe communities, all with advanced features and sophisticated apps, an app with less than 100 recipes is nothing new or cool anymore. It lacks any wow factor. Apologies.

As per Steemhunt posting guidelines:

6. Post "New" Products

Steemhunt is about cool "new" products. Please make sure that your hunt is something recently introduced. If the product is not new, there must be a strong reason to post. For example, the product must be substantially updated or upgraded in a way that has a positive effect on users. Even though the set period of time to define whether it is newly launched is subjective, the moderators may ask if the product is widely considered to be a “new product” (or substantially updated).

7. Post “Cool” Products

In Steemhunt, the coolness is decided by hunter’s upvotes. If many people think that a product is really cool, then the ranking is likely to be higher than other products. However, all products that are hunted in the first place should be somewhat cooler than other products. When a hunter decides to introduce the product to our community, it must not be a generic product. It should have some killer features that make people say “wow.” If your product is considered to be ordinary, the moderators may hide your hunt.

I strongly recommend a flexible language structure, possibly changeable language scheme wih indigenous languages as preferences, pidgin for instance.

This is laudable, much respect to the team behind this

Indeed true!. The app is very suitable especially for beginners to learn how to cook most of Nigerian favorite dishes. I strongly recommend this App. Go download and start preparing awesome dishes.

NOWHERE like home. Am definitely getting this. Am a chef myself. so to say. So... I have a guide. Gracias. Bless up sir.

I love learning new things.. Seriously getting this

Pros:

  • easy to navigate
  • written in simple language
" Solid team behind its development

Cons:
Not yet open sourced

The first thing that came to my mind is a scene from Silicon Valley:

anyways cool app! Exactly the stuff i came to steemhunt for. Apps don't need to change the world to be cool. I've always been interested in Nigerian recipe!

Pros:

  • Recipe app on the go
  • Simple to navigate and easy to follow

Cons:

  • needing to install which may deter some users

Overall:

  • Simple and straight to the point. Exactly what is needed in a simple recipe app.
