Hunter's comment

Currently there are 250 million people in the world who can not bless normal vision. The numbers did decline precisely in the 90s, but have now become concentrated in developing countries. It gives economic influence in the region: the sufferer can not work optimally and it is difficult for those who make the search because of the cost. One team of innovators wants to provide a solution to the problem. At CES 2018 yesterday, they showcased the cutting edge of the 'eliminating blindness in 2020' campaign, a unique device called eSight. eSight is a usable device that allows visual sufferers to be able to see back to normal. The solution is practical, 'hands-free', and does not attract operations at all.

Smart goggles are equipped with special software that serves to sharpen and clean the drawings. The developers promise there will be no lag / delay between the image seen by the camera with the output on the screen, then the results did not look like a digital image. Then because the visor can be upgraded (called the Bioptic Tilt system), we do not lose the ability to see things around.

eSight also comes with a separate control unit, allowing you to adjust the position of the visor and activate the zoom feature. There is even an HDMI port available to connect this device to the player unit. Thanks to this capability, users can enjoy TV series or movies like when accessing it from a virtual reality headset. This device allows people with visual impairments for daily activities, educational activities (attending classes at school to college), to work normally. And different from similar immersive wearable devices, the absence of latency ensures that the user does not feel nauseous when wearing them and does not cause any imbalance issues when walking. The biggest obstacle for the eSight team for eliminating blindness is the very expensive production costs. To have one unit of smart glasses, you have to spend US $ 10 thousand.
