And you thought I only knew how to find expensive products. Hah!
Although it may take a while before you make any ROI from your own Fab Lab Solar House.
Unless you charge an entry fee for everyone who wants to visit the solar house which doesn’t look like having solar panels on it.
And is made entirely from wood. And self-sufficient.
Rather than making solar houses, we can create self-sufficient habitats that are able to produce energy, food and other goods
Vicente Guallart, Architect Director del IAAC
Best of all it can be built in 15 days only. And has the world’s most efficient flexible solar panels yet.
Oh... did I say already that it looks awesome to boot too?
And is cheaper than the average watch I hunt.
If... you go tiny.

I like the direction the solar panel design is going - flexibility in this case or even foldabilty like I saw the other day on steemhunt.
And the interior looks like a nice cosy place ot live in.
Advancement in solar panel tech in recent two years has vastly increased the efficiency of light capturing.
The new gen panels finally allow flexible panels which are as good, or better even, than the common standard panels.
While it is still super expensive (the small Fab Lab house is €45,000 and smaller than the average “tiny house”) self-sufficiency is finally possible. Or selling more to the grid lacking Elon’s battery storage solutions (Solar City, now TESLA owned).
As we say so often here on Steemhunt: the future is now.
Great hunt! It's really nice and eco-friendly house. I think what makes it impressive that it need just 15 days to build. It's amazing. Thank you for sharing.
Pros and Cons
Pros:
-Solar energy powered house, very environmental friendly
-Relatively cheap for the housing unit
Cons:
-The placing of the house should be far from moist or flooding
You know, I love the products you hunts. You’re a great hunter.
But you absolutely suck at writing pros/cons. Every house should be far from flooding but when it comes to the point... wood floats but stone sinks.
Have you noticed how high the flooding needs to be to actually reach the living area?
The house is designed to be part of a whole ecosystem, a natural self-sustaining habitat. I actually highlighted that in the hunt’s description, highlighted it with a quote.
It’s 45,000 Euro for the small model. That’s five times the average price of a usually slightly larger “tiny house”.
TL;DR: since pros/cons are not required anymore to receive an upvote... skip that format and just comment your opinion, ideas on each hunt. They will be more appreciated. ;)
Having a solar house is a dream come true, help the environment is priceless and this house is super economical and quick to build in just 15 days you can start to live, great hunting
Those who already know me know that all these initiatives that involve taking care of the environment, I love them, it is possible that I find the design a little strange, but in the end it is something futuristic, I also like their comforts, it is quite complete, I think it is great.
This solar house is very interesting
Here's my personal opinion
Pros :
Cons :
What a different design. Maestro is a product manufactured in a short time. I think you've found a great hunt. An advantage of environmentally friendly feature. Thank you.
I will love to live in a house like this and the ideea that is self-sufficient makes it like a dream come true. Eco-friendly solution are the future, there is no question about it!
based on the picture given, it looks like so cool to visit, simple yet beautiful, and the best thing is it is powered by natural resources thats what makes it more ecological.
