Today I want to present an initiative that has left me in awe, it is STARSHIP a series of trucks and semi trucks put into practice and developed by Shell that seeks to offer a highly efficient alternative that contributes greatly to reduce CO2 emissions .
Starship is a truck that in addition to fulfilling all cargo functions that a regular truck would do in an efficient and practical way thanks to its dual energy system, ie this truck is powered by a type of diesel ecological and electrical energy that will be generated from a solar panel cast on the top of this truck.
Here are some interesting specs
- Active based on temperature to maximize aerodynamics and efficiency
- Aerodynamic boat tail for streamlined airflow around truck and drag reduction
- Hybrid electric axle system for a power boost while climbing grades
- Custom automatic tire inflation system for consistent
- 5000 Watt solar array charges and stores power power for normal electrical components

A great initiative that contributes to the environment with a different system and driven to the ecological, through solar panels and traditional fuels that destroys the ozone layer. Congratulations
The transport industry is one of the biggest one in the world. And it is increasing every day as more and more goods are moving around the globe. This looks like a step to improving this. More efficient aerodynamics and solar panels.
Amazing contribution hunter, fuel can now be optimized to it's fullest. And besides, environmental pollution will now b moderately deal with
Wow, this truck is very cool, besides the diesel fueled truck, it is also supported by ecological fuel, namely solar energy, with this technology can be more efficient and protect the environment from air pollution
The design is really amazing and I have already said it several times I love everything that takes care of the environment and this is spectacular to see how an oil company is interested in the care of the planet, the search for different energies is undoubtedly the future, is great your hunting.
The fact that an oil company is adding on the market a truck that is totally Eco-friendly and use alternative fuel solution says a lot. The car industry is changing slowly and i think it's just a matter of time till all the vehicles in the world will use alternative fuel solutions...
