Its role is to let you check your credit score once a year for free. Most importantly, the app will notify you when there is a significant change in your credit score. The app also offers other features, such as potential credit cards that may qualify based on your credit score. If you don't want to, you don't have to accept these. This is a simple and easy way to check your credit and start fixing it when you need it. This is one of the underrated free Android apps. Credit Karma is not 100% accurate, but it gives you a good understanding of your credit score. The notice will also let you know if you have opened a new account under your name. Inuit (the developer of TurboTax) and MindWallet's Mint are also good choices.
