From watching the video, here are my:

Pros:

• Obviously cover more even ground with less effort, in less time.

Cons:

• It doesn't seem very stable for a typical person with no skateboarding experience --- even though it's long. It looks as if the actors in the videos have experience skateboarding ... especially on a wooden deck like a boardwalk ... and he looks like he's wearing skateboarding shoes. Probably not "regular" enough for a typical non-skateboarding adult who were considering this for personal transportation.
• What if you want to carry a backpack
• Hard to transport
