Have you ever wanted to visit a new country but the thought of not being able to communicate with the locals scares you to death?
What if there was a device that enabled you to communicate in real time without needing to get out your dictionary?
Meet the Pixel Buds from Google.
The pixel buds are essentially smart earphones that allow for real time translation to help you communicate with people speaking a foreign language.
Simply tap the control button on the right earbud and the sensor will detect and translate the text for you into your desired language.
What's more, these earphones are not just a translation device. They also act as a personal assistant allowing you to schedule appoints, make phone calls, set reminders etc. If you are an IPhone user, think of these headphones as having Siri with you at all times.
The headphones have 5 hours of listening time, but the charging case gives multiple charges per use, allowing the user to get up to 24 hours of battery life when on the go.
Pros:
- No more lost in translation while traveling in a foreign country
- Ability to make calls, schedule appointments, send messages all from your headset.
- Charging case adds to battery time
- Adjustable clips for different ear types
- only $159
Cons:
- You need a smart device to use the translation feature
- Current model looks clunky (Hardware looks out of date)
- Need a google account to use them.

Anything that helps people communicate and get through the language barrier I am all for. I have used google translate on many occasions, it's decent but not anywhere near perfect. But this is a step in the right direction.

Hi @geekgirl. Thanks for your response. Although I understand the need for no duplicates of a product, the previous hunter did an absolute shit job in hunting the pixel buds and it was clear to me that this needed to be addressed.
Look at the spelling in the first line of that post.
By delisting my post it is showing the community that this @steemhunt is more about quantity rather than quality. The hunt was a total of two sentences with grammar and spelling mistakes. Not what I would call a good hunt at all.
I understand your frustration, and I am sorry for that. Steemhunt develops and improves the posting guidelines to make it more efficient and beneficial for the community as we grow. There will always be room for a debate. At this time, I hope you understand that review process needs to follow guidelines. We are a community-driven project.
