Hunter's comment
Sony still wants to add to its Xperia phone line. This time Sony officially introduced Xperia XA2 Plus as an entertainment device, through hi-res audio features and 18: 9 screen.
This phone is actually complement the Xperia XA2 range that has been present before. In January, Sony announced the presence of Xperia XA2 and XA2 Ultra.
So what's the difference with the two previous phones? Xperia XA2 Plus is an upgraded version of both Xperia XA2 and XA2 Ultra, although not many changes can be found.
The most striking change is the aspect ratio of the screens that are carried. Xperia XA2 Plus adopts a ratio of 18: 9 with a screen-to-body ratio of 78 percent. While two predecessor phones still adopt 16: 9 screen.
From the material side, Sony also makes this brand-new phone with the design and materials a little more premium body. The plastic material on the back is replaced with a new aluminum panel.
Another difference is in the screen protector that has been using Gorilla Glass 5. Then the storage of this phone can also be boosted up to 400 GB capacity via the MicroSD slot, while the two previous models only reached 256 GB.
From the kitchen side of the runway, Xperia XA2 Plus is supported by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 and paired with 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM. In addition, Sony again offers a choice of internal storage space 32 GB or 64 GB.
Sony Xperia XA2 Plus complete with upscale audio. There is a Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE HX) technology made by Sony that can upscale MP3 files and other audio compression into hi-res format.
Audio processor chip claimed Sony can increase the sound of midrange and bass so it becomes more powerful. There is also LDAC technology to transmit hi-res music via Bluetooth.
Sony Xperia XA2 Plus comes with a single front camera 8 megapixel sensor, whereas the Sony XA2 Ultra has used dual front camera with a resolution of 16 megapixels and 8 megapixels.
For the security side, like the Ultra variant, there is a fingerprint scanner sensor at the bottom of the rear camera that has a 23 megapixel resolution.
This phone also uses the Android operating system 8.0 Oreo and powered by a battery capacity of 3,850 mAh. For charging, this phone is supported Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
