SteemSQL is a database that is easy to use to access data contained on the blockchain Steem and perform analysis or find other valuable information.

This is a SQL database that is publicly available with all blockchain data in it.

This tool has a SQL Server database that allows you to generate quick answers to questions like:

  • What is the power Steem volume for the past six weeks?
  • Which is the top 10 most posts ever?
  • Do I get, me or my post, mentioned in a post or comment?
  • How many posts talk about ants?

looks like you're an utopian @shaphir
always hunting the steem apps, even ones i haven't even heard of

@camzy, I'm just a contributor there. Tobias-g is a real utopian lol

I still don't get how this hunt wasn't posted before. SteemSQL is a great app that allow us to extract valuable data from the steemit blockchain. Awesome hunt!

You seem to be on a bit of a streak finding great Steem related products which nobody has hunted yet, nice work!

The product itself is low cost and can be used on be paid for by the day or monthly which is perfect for people who don't want to be fixed into a contract (common SaaS method).

This application is being used to power some of the features on SteemPlus along with a wide variety of different analyst who is pulling data about Steem daily, the benefit of this, this product is already being used by the community and is already providing benefit to a wide range of people.

The barrier to entry is that you need to know SQL and if you wish to use this in your application you would need to wrap it in an API to not expose your credentials, but overall that's pretty simple and it can be used for a wide selection of different use cases.

Overall nice hunt, and keep up the good work :)
