The Kobo Forma is a large, lightweight and comfortable reader. But it is also expensive. Knowing that the vast majority of people have more than enough with a lower end reader, we would orient the Forma for those who really squeeze an eReader to the max and devote many hours per week to reading. That's when paying the highest price for this reader makes sense.
If we compare the Forma with other high-end eBook readers, then the difference becomes the huge 8-inch screen. If you prefer it despite the sacrifices involved in transporting it (perhaps you need to read the text in large size for vision problems), then the Kobo Forma can be a good device for you.
