I understand Tone Vays view. I see ETC as a scam, as it's only supported by bitcoin maximalists and the DAO thief. I guess this merry group also contains people that think blockchain shouldn't be changed ever, under any circumstances and to me, that's just foolish. Especially considering the state ETH still is in. Many wouldn't agree with me on this view though.

And when he talks about Steemit being a scam, I think the issue is how the mining process in the start happened and how the wealth is mostly in the hands of very few and not really being distributed good enough. Also there might be issue with how the witnesses were for the most part from bitshare, a Dan's previous project.

Maybe our views will change with coming years though.
