No real source, but all the fancy folk on the trending page keep hinting at it, and some are calling the non-TRON version "Steem Classic."
To be honest, I think we should just start over with a fair launch, because the early votes from Ned and Dan's accounts created an inequality that cripples the platform and isn't going away.

And yes you are right. A lot of people have showed back up. A lot of us never left posing what ever little post we could to earn $0.50 or so figuring that it might have been worth it in the next bull run.
