RE: From a minnow to the minnows. On witnesses and voting.

Thanks for your support :)

Someone else I recommend new users support and follow is @timcliff - he writes good posts for new users and he's contributed a lot that isn't always obvious on steemit like assisting behind the scenes at github

Also the steemdb witness list is good for seeing who's active, has an active price feed (and what the premium/discount is) and how many blocks they've missed etc.

Sort:

Yes I voted for timcliff but I didn't want give out all 30 names. I wanted to leave some free will haha!! Thanks for the extra links. I will just upvote you and hope it stays up top so people can see it!!

Thanks, did a little 1% self vote to boost it up there. I do agree with the rest of your choices too, and good call on the free will thing :)

BTW for the record I do really appreciate and support a lot of the higher up witnesses as well even when I'm not voting for them - I just prefer to put my votes where they will have the biggest effect and a lot of the top tier witnesses have so many votes it wouldn't affect them at all to lose mine

You're my witness.
btw, care to tell me how I can deposit some money to here from aus?
Cheers, keep up with the posts.

Thanks! There isn't a direct aussie dollar to steem path at the moment, you would need to purchase bitcoin first (via coinjar or a good aussie localbitcoins vendor etc) and trade that for steem (via changelly/poloniex/blocktrades) and send that into your steem wallet.

I'm considering offering a local aussie dollar to steem/sbd (and reverse) service for a few mates to take a layer of complexity away for crypto noobs - depends how my chat with livingroomofsatoshi goes after this post pays out .

Legend, seem like it would be a great service, not that I would be using it for paying my bills with plankton income but nevertheless, great asset for Aussie steemit.
