6 reasons why you need to sleep more.
Have you feel like your head’s in the clouds and you can’t seem to focus?, this is a sign that your brain just isn’t getting enough sleep. There are those days that we can’t remember anything, we’re angry over nothing, we make risky decisions... Why is this? The answer to this question is simple, we aren’t getting enough sleep.
Have you think how important sleep is for good brain function and long-term cognitive health? What happens when your brain doesn’t sleep?
There are many reasons of why you need to sleep more.
1) You can lose your memory.
This happens when the hippocampus exibits distintic pattern of neural activity when the waking mind learns new information. That's why lost sleep, lost long-term memories.
2) Anger.
When we sleep less prime us to focus on negative experiences, misinterpret facial expressions and pick fights. Emotional stability is weak, and may be part of a lack of proper communication with various regions of the brain.
3) Cerebral Shrinkage.
Some studies say that healthy adults getting poor sleep lose volume of the temporal, frontal and parietal lobes.
4) Slurred speech.
We have a lobe of the brain called the temporal lobe, who is associated with language processing. It's highly active in well-rested people but when they are inactive in their exhausted and enunciation-challenged counterparts.
5) Risky decisions.
It's important to be rested when we need to make very serious chooses. Because there are times, when you don't sleep enough the activity of the brain decreases in the region related to punishment and aversion (the anterior insula) suggesting we don't care our own decisions.
6) Brain Demage.
When the people don't sleep enough, their 8 hours everyday. The brain can lose brain cells - and they never regenerate -. The damage may be irreparable.
How much sleep should you get?
Generally, if you're an adult aged 18 to 64, the National Sleep Foundation recommends seven to nine hours at night. Some people feel well-rested after seven hours; some need more. Figure out what works best for you.
Finally, did you see why you need to sleep more? Your brain needs to rest and be charged again. Don't lose your memorie and kill your brain cells, don't be angry at the day and be focus on your job.
Sleep enough hours to have a good health. To be a healthy person.

Have a good day/night.
Love this post! I have random cycles of insomnia and I notice that during those times I tend to have slurred speech much more often and I start to feel like I have lost control of my speech but you are right - our brains are definitely telling us we need more sleep at times.
Exactly, our brains are smart and always tell us what's wrong!!! Thank you. I'm glad you liked it. Remember, sleep more!!

Night sleep is a kind of resetting, heeling and developing process to pay serious attention to… Thanks
Boy, this is a great post and so true. I am a Traumatic Brain Injury survivor and have had to learn to listen to my brain. I had to retrain it so I could walk correctly. I struggle regularly with lack of sleep. It's like my brain forgot how to doze off! I get to the tipping point and just can't make the final fall off into sleep. It, of course, affects everything about how I feel the next day.
Brains DEFINITELY need all of the TLC we can give them and sleep is absolutely vital! I often take naps to make up for what I don't get on those occasional nights when it still happens.
I'm brand new today! Great post so that everyone remembers... DON'T deprive yourselves if you can help it!
