This is the post I have been waiting for. Thank you! I am only a five-day old Steemian and I am already getting discouraged that my post won't even be visible to the community because it gets buried too fast by new posts . I see a lot of posts that get a lot of upvotes even though it doesn't show a lot of effort from the author. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way so I am very grateful that you wrote this. I know about the 80/20 rule but never thought it could apply to Steemit. You have my "resteem" for highlighting great and useful points! *Resteeming and *Following now....
There's a reason why seemingly posts of very little value can earn more than your well-researched, and well-written post and it's hard to see why when you only have a 5-day old view of this community.
