Guess what? It's time for another round of #steemit-webcomics Funny comic strip contest!! Make funny comics to earn Steem!!! This round we have a special collaboration with #teamgirlpowa!

This contest is targeted for artist and non artist. As long as you can make a comic (even stick figures are valid), you can enter this contest. The idea is to get some hilarious entries, have fun, support the community and earn some rewards while at it.

Also, for this collaborated round, we're also targeting feminists, figthers of gender equality and even people interested to learn about the subject. We're very excited about this contests and all the entries you will make. All these interactions will also help spread the word and make people more aware about gender and the importance to fight against inequality.

This Week's Theme is: Feminist Heroes for Hire!

Make a funny comic using a feminist hero that solves a mundane or major problem in which gender cliches are subverted. There is still a lot of gender inequality in this world, and it will be up to your hero/heroine to put his/her part in solving these problems.

Remember to be respectful while making your comic. Even if it is a sensitive subject, I bet you can find out something funny in it

Judging

Well see where we are now, round 10th!! As mentioned before, this is a special collaborated contest between #steemit-webcomics and #teamgirlpowa. For this round we have multiple judges: @limabeing, @didic and @corinneiskorean.

We've been discussing and planning how to judge this particular contest since not only the funny aspect is important, but also communicating feminism ideas to everyone. Saying this, here's what will be considered for judging:

• Funniness - Humor will be judged by feminists and is subjective but will be weighted as the key element
• Badass/girlpowaness -Your hero must have the rebel spirit to fight patriarchy be it physical, mental, or emotional strength
• Uniqueness - Rating of how new old or widely used the punchline is
• Cleverness - Intelligience quotient won’t break you or make you but it will definitely help
• Bonus points for intersectionality - person of color, differently abled, lgbtqi , class-distinctions etc.

Remember, we're not looking for great artists or pro comic makers, we're looking for people to try to make comics and communicate gender equality and feminism ideology while having fun at it. However, is VERY IMPORTANT to remember to be respectful and tolerant. Comics portraying ideas of gender degrading and hatred will be not considered for the contest.

Again, the goal of this contest is to make people more aware of gender equality, promote both artists and non artists to make a comic strip and give us some laughter to our day.
