Nice explanation, but... curation rewards changed on Steemit with HF20. The reverse auction period is now just 15 minutes and the author-curation rewards now go back into the general reward pool and not to the author. The author can still gain some curation rewards from his own upvote after 15 minutes.
Most of it is OK, you may wish to edit the last parts.
Very little is written in the official manual, thanks for the amendment, could you give a source HF20
