here with @alfa-good, there has been a while since I created my last portfolio. I think it will be a good time to start creating somethig new.
I want this to be super colorful with pictures to show variety but there is a lot to think about the direction though. I'll show you what I got.

Yesterday when trying to access the steemit I encounter error 503 (The service is unavailable), but as the blockchain steem is decentralized, as it has several nodes spread throughout the world, I was able to access by other sites that use the blockchain of steem like chainbb.com and steemitstage.com which is used for the development of the condenser.
What happened was a DDOS attack, probably from someone who does not like the steemit, that left me a little worried about the steemit security, because during the attack there may be some information interception in the sending to the server, I do not know exactly if the Data interception can happen with steemit, but it's important to stay tuned.

With this experience yesterday was clear the need to have another site with blockchain steem with the same popularity, because currently steemit is the most popular with 95% of hits and second to the eSteem application.
Luckily steemit developers are already taking steps to avoid further DDOS attacks in the future, so we can rest easy.

50% of the liquid payout for the appreciation post shall be transferred to the person in whose honour the post was written. 20% shall be transferred to the user(s) whose nomination was picked. The remaining 30% will be evenly distributed among all those who properly participated in the nomination exercise.
