As someone who does not use bid bots, I was extremely surprised to land in trending. By the looks of that section, I really didn't think it was very possible without using these bots.

As I am also a new user, having only been active for about three weeks, this is rather disheartening. I now know it's possible, but you have to get very lucky with two things - garnering the attention of a large curation trail, and doing so at the precisely right time.
