Steemit feature ideas and a shout-out to Mark Passio.

in #steemit8 years ago

I had a couple of ideas that i would like to see, so i thought i make a post out of it, cause if you don't open your mouth nobody will hear you.

Embedding

I think The embedding of steemit articles in a similar way to how tweets can be embedded would be a nice thing, which i would frequently use, either on forums that i have control over to add the embedding feature myself or that i have convinced the owners of to add it.
Perhaps you could pass options with it like posting the entire article or a part of it followed by a link continue reading at steemit.com.
Ofcourse keeping the bar with the upvote on it, perhaps change reply to go to steemit (discussion) or something.

Read Later

Perhaps it's a nice idea to be able to mark posts for reading it later, cause sometimes you see an interesting post, but you just don't have the time or the patience to read it right away, ofcourse you could store the link somewhere in bookmarks or something, but it would be much easier to just click a read later button or something.

"Playlists"

This idea stems from youtube that you can make playlists, group a few must reads in your opinion in a list so people can check that out on your steemit page, or even if you have posts in parts or a number of posts that together wave a tapestry of information that you can put in order in a list so people can read it like a book.
I think you get what i mean.

Bring in Mark Passio

Another feature i would love to see (the most) is Mark Passio, ofcourse this is not what i can ask from the steemit developers, but this is just a shout-out to Mark.
I think Mark is capable of writing some of the most enlightening pieces on here and that a lot of people here already can appreciate him.
Here, while handing out REAL mon eye for people to grab, he can even get some of the fake mon eye in return just by people appreciating his work , not through begging for donations or whatever, or by selling something, but just by sharing his information for free with the public, which can assist him with his living, making him have the room to do even more to bring crucial information to the masses.

Well this was it for now, i hope you guys agree.

I guess i'm the only one.

It's an interesting post for sure.... you could say the same thing about fiat monetary systems.... the only thing that makes them valuable is the "belief" that they are valuable.
