Candy : Buckeyes, No Oven Needed
Hello Steemians,
Here Is A Recipe For
Buckeyes Candy
Very Easy And
Fun To Make.
You Will Need:
1 16 Oz Jar Of Creamy Peanut Butter
1 Cup Of Butter, Softened
1 + 1/2 (16 Ounce) Packages Of Powdered Sugar
2 Cups (12 Ounce) Semisweet Chocolate Chips
2 Tablespoons Of Shortening
1 Medium To Large Size Mixing Bowl
Hand Held Mixer Or Table Mixer
1 Microwave Safe Bowl-About 2 Quart Size
Wooden Toothpicks
2 Spoons And Measuring Utensils
Wax Paper Or Lightly Greased Cookie Sheet
Airtight Container For Storage
Add Creamy Peanut Butter
And Butter To Mixing Bowl.
Beat On Medium Level With Mixer
Until Blended.
Gradually Add Powdered Sugar,
Beating With Mixer Until Blended.
Shape Into 1 Inch Balls And
Chill In Fridge For
10 Minutes or Til Firm.
Microwave Chocolate Chips And
Shortening In Large Microwave Safe
Bowl On High For 1 And 1/2 Minutes
Or Until Melted, Stirring Twice.
Poke Balls With Toothpicks
And Dip The
Balls Into The Melted Mixture
Coating 3/4th Of The Balls.
Place On Wax Paper Or A
Lightly Greased Cookie Sheet
To Dry.
Carefully Pull Toothpicks Out of Balls.
Let Candies Dry Til Chocolate Hardens.
Store In A Airtight Container
In Fridge.
