The ban is introduced by an amendment to the Law on veterinary care, which came into force on January 1, 2019 and defines animals as "living and emotional beings".
As noted, the innovation will come into force on September 1 and will apply to all species of the family of predatory cats, elephants, giraffes, primates, bears and other animals.
With the exception of dogs, cats or ferrets. However, taming these animals comes into force a number of restrictions. It is forbidden to use fire and methods that cause fear or pain to animals. In case of fatigue, fright or severe anxiety, training or performance should be immediately over.
It should be noted that specialized lectures in zoos or the use of animals and birds in falconry are not considered public performances and do not fall under the law.
