RE: 30 DAYS OF STEEMIT - Some CRUCIAL criticism and the Steemit "whale blubber" epidemic

in #steemit7 years ago

Those are some pretty amazing views you're pulling, I'm sorry your earnings have dropped so much. I've been automatically voting your posts ever since your intro with @ausbitbot , but I've been busy and hadn't seen many posts of yours since.

Don't take it personally, a massive amount of people joined at the same time and you've slipped through the cracks. I'm sure if more whales had noticed the amount of viewers you were pulling in you would be getting bigger votes.

There are other factors at play here too - the steem price dropped a lot, we had a hardfork (rule change) that caused users to be more reserved with their votes - AND the reward pool shrunk massively all at the same time.

Persistence is key here, build your following and don't rely on whale votes - things will improve in time :)

Its not so much about earnings, but sadly the way things are set up here, earnings put articles to the top of the rankings, and then they get more exposure. I think there should be actual upvote rankings, or even better, RE-STEEM rate. Because if an article is being re-steemed, people actually care about it.

And thanks for showing up @ausbitbank . Please continue to support, but check the content often, because I dont want anything Im not earning. I promised mind bending and challenging content, and I should have my feet held to the fire. Criticism is always welcome.

see - @ausbitbank says it better than I can but it's true. However - a little humility goes a long way.

Yes, his method of response to my post is much better than "so what, stay or go". I mean, honestly, how else do you expect me to react to your response?
