Dializer
Dialyzer is a part of the hemodialysis machine. Dialyzer has two parts separated by a membrane. One part contains a dialysis solution, the other contains the patient's blood. Then with this tool the patient can perform daily activities, so that toxins and excess fluids can be filtered and removed.
REINFORCED WARRANTY / DIALIZER WARRANTY
Reusing the dializer (reuse dializer) is a method of applying the dializer more than once to the same patient. Reuse dializer action was first performed by Shaldon pads in 1964, by storing the dializer in the refrigerator until the next dialysis. The technique of reuse dializer further develops in line with the increase of dialysis centers that carry out this reuse dializer action. According to the 1992 United States Centers for Disease Control (CDC) report, 72 percent of all dialysis centers across the United States undergo a reuse dializer process. A dializer can be used several times, this varies greatly depending on the state of the patient and the dialysis unit. A study of several dialysis centers, approximately one dializer can be used up to 13 times (Doug, 1996).
The controversy over reuse is still growing, Yosephine Torrente, president of the Association of Disposal Device Manufacturers says "Until you prove otherwise, these devices are safe and effective for one use. After that, they're garbage "(Charatan, 1999). The idea of patient safety has been thought out from the beginning, not just oriented to the cost savings of dialysis. This is evidenced by the continuous improvement of reuse dializer technique. This can be done 6 times reuse ![image]
