Top functions I need to be added on Steemit

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

Hi, Steemians! I am a newer on Steemit. I have noticed that this social network looks like unfinished masterpiece. Of course, Steemit is only a beta yet, and is going to be better. And I’d like to share some features I think we need on Steemit. Maybe this post is to be seen by developers team :-)

  • News about what happens to my articles. If someone puts a link to my article in his/her own post, I’d like to know about it to greet him/her.
  • Sorting posts in my feed by categories. For example, I subscribed for a lot of people and am going to see what they have written about movies and arts during last days. And I want to see their posts about these topics only. So, instead of searching these themes among other posts in my feed, I would like to choose them and only them by a couple of clicks.
  • The same thing with personal blogs. When I visit someone’s blog I want to see what he/she has written on different topics separately.
  • Extended functions at the post editor. When I write a new post, I would like to define styles of paragraphs, position and size of images, text color and many other things without turning on the «Markdown» mode.
  • Extended modes of post searching. Besides «Relevance» and «Date» sorting I would like to have the «Popularity» sorting mode that shows a list of found posts according to their upvotes amount. Each mode of sorting could have two options: uprising and descending so I could see the most relevant/newest/the most popular posts first and vice versa.

If you agree or disagree — welcome to comments. And suggest which functions you want to be added on Steemit!
