You're not embracing it you're constantly knocking it. To embrace it would be to say here's what they do right and where we could learn something. Or here's where they hold the advantage and what attracts our current users. Now let's see if we can fill the same needs and do better. Instead you're just pointing out flaws and telling people what to think.
