RE: an open letter to @ned

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

You're defending his actions with his feelings. As though a child having a public tantrum because he dropped his ice cream is somehow justifiable.

Dan left Ned with a working gold-mine. And he left because of what he couldn't achieve with steem which could very well be due to his team not having his back.

Nobody's saying Ned should he happy to see his ex partners progress or gloating or "aggrandizement" if you insist on calling it that, but the mature and constructive thing to do is to carry on building your own business and leave others to theirs. In comparison to how much we hear about progress at steemit inc, we hear more about EOS from @NED himself.

Regardless of what "feelings" provoked his actions, they've only instilled doubt and insecurity for the whole community.

The mature thing to do is embrace competition rather than pretend it doesn’t exist. Embrace it. Objectively analyze it. Do your damndest. Enjoy it.

You're not embracing it you're constantly knocking it. To embrace it would be to say here's what they do right and where we could learn something. Or here's where they hold the advantage and what attracts our current users. Now let's see if we can fill the same needs and do better. Instead you're just pointing out flaws and telling people what to think.
