RE: Build SteemJ into Busy.org, ChainBB, or eSteem?

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

Thanks for adding this post. It does offer great points and ideas. It also reminded me of a few thoughts I had on these subjects. If there is going to be any successful marketplaces I would like for them to be better aligned for mobile use. I see a lot of apps and sites that are not as mobile friendly as the designers think. I know I am not the only one out there that uses mobile a lot and it is frustrating when you try to use something and it takes too long to load or it is chopped into several lines with half on one side of the page and the other half in the middle. Also having a better way to view on apps like esteem, don’t get me wrong, I love the esteem app but if I am reading something and want to go back to the list to check out something else it takes me all the way back to the top of the list and I have to start all over. I think a freelance app, website or group should be split into the people searching for the work and people looking for a freelancer. If they are just put into the same area it is hard for someone searching to distinguish gigs wanted to gigs looking for people. Just my personal opinions because I keep the basic idea of designing with the KISS (keep it simple stupid) method. Get the point across and information accessible to the user in the least amount of clicks possible or you will lose their attention.

Becca thank you very much for sharing your experience with eSteem and the recommendation to make a mobile friendly user experience for these marketplaces!

My pleasure. Just trying to give different perspectives. I wish everyone involved great success with it.
