San Sebastián is a coastal city located in the Basque Autonomous Community, Spain. It lies on the coast of the Bay of Biscay 20km from the French boarder that's exactly 12miles.San Sebastián is known for its commerce and tourism, and is one of the most famous tourism in Spain... Although, the city is small in size, events such as San Sebastián international Film Festival has given it a popular dimension.

Every 20th January the people of San Sebastián celebrates a festival called "Tamborrada". For 24hours the entire city is awash with the sound of drums. The adult, dressed as cook and soldiers march around the city. They match all night with their cook hats and white aprons with the march of San Sebastián.

this coastal city has been a summer playground for the royal family since the mid 1800s. Set in a wonderfully curved bay, with a golden sand beach lapped by the azure waters of the Bay of Biscay, it’s a beautiful city all year round. It has a circular bay with pristine white sand beaches that have long attracted wealthy beach - goers in search of Sun and Sophistication. This is what makes the city famous during the Belle Époque era and it is also where Queen Maria Cristina established her royal summerhouse.
