What Steemit Could Learn From Twitter
Twitter is a hugely popular social media platform. As you may know, twitter posts have a limit of 140 Characters. Because of the way steemit is set up, most top ranking posts are long, well thought out articles. But is that really what most internet users want? On other platforms like reddit or tumblr, many of the popular posts are simple memes or silly spontaneous posts that are one sentence long. Magazine-type articles are nice, but we need some variety if we want to attract a wider userbase.
We need to appreciate simplicity and find a way to make simple posts stand out from the rest. Do you agree?
One thing Twitter has taught me is if your political or social views conflict with Jack Dorsey, your getting banned.
The bigger question is how do we get Trump and the rest of the media circus to set up a shop on Steemit?
Nice post!
