I'm hopeful that he is wrong but my gut says that he is more right than wrong. There has been zero updates really about SMT since September. Something so great, you would think might be talked about more within Steemit since they do own a blogging platform. 😀

There are many many competitors or systems that are being developed that make Steem a little late to the party. Yes, an almost relaunch and refocus I think is needed. There are many that will disagree. I recently read an article that stated Steem will be the hot alt coin of 2018. I hope they are right. They have some serious challenges ahead of them either way.
