5 Borderline Genius People Elon Musk Should Hire STAT!

in #steemit7 years ago

Elon Musk

It's easy to think Elon Musk is the single genius behind SpaceX, Tesla and Solar City (and now also The Boring Company). In a way, he is, however, neither of the incredibly great achievements he now has under his belt is attributed to one man alone.

Sure, Elon Musk is sitting on an impressive level of imagination but it is his determination and dedication that really is the driving force behind his success. It has allowed him to find some of the world's brightest minds and that is solely the reason why Mr. Musk is one of the world's most revered minds and business men alive today.

The ingenuity behind the technologies that his companies develop on a daily basis is mind-boggling, however, it's the brainchild of many. While the human mind always seeks to attribute either praise or blame to one single person, the Elon Musk saga is not written by a single man.

Don't get me wrong, though. I am a huge Elon Musk fan, however, running several businesses myself, I have seen what a group of brilliant minds can achieve together and it's way more than what a one man "team" will ever be able to.

Mr. Musk might have scouted the world for the most brilliant minds for a long time (and hired them), but I feel he might have missed a few that would seriously up the level of "genius" of his teams. As ingenuity is the driving factor behind any technology company today, people that think outside of the box are the ones that will have the greatest impact on the success of a business.

Therefore, I have compiled a short list of 5 borderline genius people that I think Elon Musk should take a closer look at, make sure to hire and add to his ever growing armada of creative and brilliant people.

Cody Don Reeder

Cody Don Reeder - Scientist / Engineer - YouTube Channel

Cody started his YouTube vlogging career on Feb 2, 2011, and has since been able to grow his channel into a 1.1 million subscribers strong science and engineering hub. His channel is loaded with experiments, inventions, and mind-boggling explanations concerning everything from basic minerals and planet earth to space technologies and research.

Mr. Don Reeder is also one of 100 contestants left in the run for a one-way trip to Mars held by the Dutch firm Mars One. The trip is expected to be launched sometime after 2026.

I included Cody in this list because his whole personality seems to be wired around the concept of innovation, understanding and further developing the human presence in space. His level of knowledge, creativity, and willingness to try new approaches to problems yet to be solved are a few of many reasons why I think Cody would make a formidable addition to either of Elon Musk's exceptional teams.

James Bruton

James Bruton - Robotics Innovator / Engineer - YouTube Channel

Elon Musk has been attributed the title of being the real world Iron Man. However, if anyone on this planet would be able to challenge Mr. Musk for this place in the spotlight it is definitely James Bruton who's company XRobots is at the forefront of experimental robotics.

James started his push to fame on Sep 23, 2006, when he uploaded his first video to YouTube. Since then people from around the world have been glued to their screens and waited patiently for more content that will drive the robotic industry forward at a pace never before seen.

What makes James Bruton so innovative is his determination to build insanely technologically advanced robots using simple methods such as 3D printing and off-the-shelf parts. His attempt to build a "fully functional" Iron Man suit has been watched by millions and each year the level of technological advancement in his builds is increased by a factor of insane.

Jame Bruton would make a huge positive impact on not only the SpaceX team but also on any of the other engineering teams that Elon Musk has put together.

James Hobson

James Hobson - Fictional Innovator / Engineer - YouTube Channel

James Hobson, aka The Hacksmith, is a YouTube phenomenon that started his career on Apr 20, 2006, and with his outlandishly awesome next level technology videos, he has since amassed a 1.4 million strong subscriber base.

Building everything from real-life Iron Man suit jets and working Batman Batarangs to plasma laser bazookas and fictional real-life weapons, James could only be described as a man on a mission to realize everything that is thought to be impossible. I mean, the man is on his way to creating a real-life fully functional light saber for heaven's sake!

Mr. Hobson's tireless journey to building the future is pure inspiration for all of us and should be an exceptional addition to Elon Musk's SpaceX team if not all of the other teams as well.

Colin Furze

Colin Furze - Gadget Innovator / Engineer - YouTube Channel

Describing Colin Furze is simple. Considered the Mad Man of YouTube he has the fastest growing channel (just hit 5 million subscribers) on the network. Building his fame one innovation at a time, Colin pushes the envelope with every single new video that he uploads.

This brilliant mind will show you what real creativity is and he does it without a pinch of hesitation. His builds range from simple everyday inventions to mad constructions like a Star Wars AT-AT and a $5,000 F1 supercar!

Mr. Furze seems to have bottomless knowledge about the workings of pretty much everything and it shows in the advanced configurations that his creations are built upon.

Adding Colin to the SpaceX team would be a match made in heaven. Not because of his knowledge concerning space technologies but because of his ability to think so far out of the box that it actually makes sense and works.

Richard Browning
(Gravity Industries)

Richard Browning - Space Technology / Engineer - YouTube Channel

Richard Browning, the technology genius that would shake the very foundation of either of Elon Musk's developing teams in a positive way. If the intention of Mr. Musk's companies is to drive technology forward then missing out on hiring Richard Browning would be a fatal mistake.

Mr. Browning's straight path to fame came when he first showcased his fully functional Iron Man suit in a video that blew people's minds.

From his farmyard in the English countryside, Richard showed the world that it was possible to fly like Tony Stark. From hovering a few fumbling seconds to now being able to smoothly hover and glide for up to 12 minutes, the suit has attracted interest from the military as well as a slew of other companies. However, Richard continues the development of the Iron Man exo-suit by himself.

If there is one single person that Elon Musk should definitely hire it is Richard Browning. The ingenuity and technical skill that he would bring to the table of especially SpaceX would be inspiring, to say the least.

If you know of anyone else that should be added to this list of people that Elon Musk should definitely hire stat, please don't hesitate to name them in the comment section below.
