How to add a link to your steemit posts

Type:
[The text that you want to display as the link in square brackets] (IMMEDIATELY followed by the link you want to go to within these round brackets)

Ensure there are no spaces between the ] character and the '(' character, and also no spaces in the link you want to follow.
