3 Key Benefits for Using @SteemChiller's Steemworld.org App for Steemit.com
I'm not new to Steemit.com, but I have been away for a while. One of the most delightful surprises in my short time back, however, has been enjoying the improvements to @steemchiller's Steemworld.org app. Clean, efficient, and loaded with value (heck! it's free!), I've been making heavy use of this app to better access and enjoy Steemit.com.
You can access the app here: https://steemworld.org/
The app's dashboard presents a user interface that is lightyears beyond the standard-issue Steemit.com profile page and wallet by displaying everything you need on one web page. No more switching between multiple tabs to find what you're looking for.
What's more, I've been using the tools included in this platform to improve my curation results. Common wisdom states that creating great content and posting it is a far better way to earn and acquire Rewards. However, curation rewards can become a more robust option to increase your overall rewards balances as Minnows and Red Fish grow with the right strategy.
I'm sure there are other and probably better posts on this topic. However, I'm writing this one to perhaps aid newbies who might be unaware of this app or for those more experienced users who may be unaware of all of the value that's packed inside. So, while I'm no expert, here are 3 Key Benefits for Using @SteemChiller's Steemworld.org App for the Steemit.com platform.
Benefit #1: Easily Track All of Your Account Activity On One Page - And I mean ALL account activity!
What's super helpful is that, unlike the standard Steemit interface, there's no need for multiple tabs when reviewing all of your account information. All of the info in your profile, blog, and wallet is available on one screen, simply by choosing between the toggle buttons.
Check your stats: check on your voting power, the value of your votes, RC status, and the number of your follows and followers. You can even see the total number of posts, comments, and replies received on your account since your first day on Steemit.
By choosing the Balances button, you can access all of your Steem and other token balances, values, and rewards. With one easy click, you can import all of your pending rewards in seconds. This makes collecting rewards simple and without the need to open your wallet, login, or change tabs in your browser.
Clicking on the other buttons will reveal your new followers, mentions in other users' posts, market orders, settings, etc. There's lots of information to access and see by using this uncomplicated menu.
At the bottom of this section is a tally of your historical rewards, as well as recent rewards collected. You can quickly determine how much you've earned through both curations and by authoring posts on Steemit.com.
One of the most remarkable aspects of the blockchain is that not only is everything recorded, but that data is available to be seen by anyone: your account, your friend's account, even some random user's account. Using Steemworld.org, you can examine all of your account activity in one place. Or, by choosing Switch Account in the first header, you can plug in the handle of any other user and review their data, too.
In the next section, Account Operations, all of the transactions on your account are displayed for simple review. Upvotes and comments, both incoming and outgoing, are all shown for simple review. So, too, are all other account operations. Also, you can easily filter any activities you are not interested in seeing from your display, like comments or JSON notifications.
This simple schematic makes it quick and easy to determine the nature of all incoming and outgoing activities on your account.
The Posts section displays all of your recent posts and their expected rewards. Since it refreshes at whatever interval you choose in the settings, there's no need for constant page renews to see new activity.
Clicking on each line creates a dropdown display of all the relevant details of a selected post. Post details, votes received, comments, payout information, and much more are easily digestible.
The section below Posts is my personal favorite. The Coming Rewards segment allows you to track all of your pending author and curations rewards. Again, all relevant information regarding each item is available and easily accessed. And this is where things can be very insightful for Curators...
Benefit #2: Insights Into Better Curation Techniques - A more efficient strategy can certainly be crafted by reviewing and understanding your current curation practices and metrics.
Full disclosure: I am not an expert on curation. A quick check of my stats on Steemworld will confirm that, for sure. It might also, however, show that I am improving, albeit slowly.
@Steemchiller's Steemworld.org app presents three critical metrics for each post your curate: Voted After, Weight, and Amount. These metrics are found by clicking on the pie chart icon in the far left column.
Voted After displays the amount of time after posting that users cast their Upvote. Weight refers to the amount of voting power the Upvoter used when voting. (Users with 500 Steem Power, or more, can choose to use between 1-100% of a vote to curate a post.) And Amount is the value of the user's vote cast in cents.
The pie chart represents the share of the curation pot that each user who Upvoted the post will receive. By hovering over the pieces of the pie, each user's rshares are displayed. (I am not going to attempt an explanation of rshares.) In any case, the pie chart represents the Upvoter's share of the curation rewards pool for the given post.
Two other items of interest and importance reside in this section: Avg. Efficiency & Weighted Avg. These percentages speak to how efficiently you're casting your Upvotes.
Analyze your Upvote metrics and compare them to other users with higher Average Efficiency & Weighted Averages. A reasonably intelligent person should discover not only Best Practices for Upvoting but how to better reward Authors if that's what's most important to you.
Benefit #3: Discover New & Helpful Apps
In my previous stints on Steemit, I used a variety of individual apps that Steemworld has mostly rendered irrelevant. Nearly everything I need is literally included in this one application. However, there are still other functions that are occasionally necessary that are not included in this suite.
In the bottom section lies a treasure trove of other tools that Steemers will find handy on occasion. I'm not going to detail the list here. I recommend that you experiment with them to discover their utility and purpose.
My favorites are Account Watch - a sortable listing of top Steem Power accounts. Authorized Apps - a record of apps approved to act on your behalf. (Some apps I no longer used and had forgotten about.) Delegation History - a tool to examine delegation data between users. And Manual Vote - a mechanism that allows you to vote just like your favorite Steemian.
One thing I need to do after being away for so long is to update my votes for Witnesses. This is probably a project for a lazy Saturday afternoon as I need to do a little research. Using Witness Overview, it ought to be a snap to record my votes.
Perhaps this post is too rudimentary. Too long. Or just plain dull. But nevertheless, here it is. I really enjoy @steemchiller's Steemworld.org app and thought I ought to say so. I'm finding it quite helpful to prioritize my activities on Steemit.com and improve the rewards I receive from my posting and curation.
Let me know in the comments if you found this post valuable in any way, uncovered any erroneous information (I'm happy to be corrected), or if there's anything else you'd like me to take a stab at posting about.
Cheers!
