Smart Investors will say, "You make your profit when you buy, not when you sell".

I would add to that, you should always try and get anything for the cheapest price you can. Don't waste money needlessly. All Crypocurrencies are volatile and probably will be for quite some time.

The key is to buy when the price is trending down, not racing for the top. Steem as of 2 weeks ago and as far back as a month, was under $1 USD. I would bet we will see some folks taking profits at the $2 level and if enough people do that, the price will drop.

Conversely, some will say, "Steem could go to $10, $20,etc." My next question is "Why?". What are the fundamentals driving the increasing price. Could it be that since Bitcoin is up to a high of $2,892 USD and Litecoin has bounced up to $30.35, investors are simply trying to find something, anything to buy quickly to turn a profit.

I suspect the answer to that question is "Yes".
