AMAZING NEWS! THANKS TO THOSE GUYS I CAN DOUBLE MY DELEGATIONS up to 2400SP - small anouncement

in #steemit6 years ago (edited)
123.jpgJust less than week ago I came back to Steemit after taking short break and I decided to start December with delegating up to 1200SP (40-50 SP per person) in total.

INTRODUCTION

line2.png

My goal was to support several people who are sharing similar passions. Mostly towards blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.

I surely didn't expect to receive way over 200 comments and more than half were from "minnows" and "plankton", who asked about my little support. It's not rocket science to realize that my budget is clearly too small and even if I would prioritize those who blog about mentioned subjects, I would still need to delegate 40SP to 60-70 people.

Simple math would confirm what I was worried about most. I will have to do some real gymnastic with numbers to fulfill my promises.

For a moment I felt doomed. Nothing can backfire more than unkept promises. Luckily, current STEEM price is very low, so I could safe myself with purchasing some extra STEEM using my personal savings. But that would still not be enough.

I didn't expect such an enormous engagement and I feel blessed to be surrounded by so many amazing people. Thank you to all of you, who wished me a happy marriage. I truly am in love with the Steemit community.

DID YOUR MUM TEACH YOU TO SAY "THANK YOU"

line2.png

For sure my mum did. I've learned the importance of showing appreciation and being grateful for good things and good people in my life. But how does it matters now? Let me tell you :)

Luckily, a few amazing people came to the rescue. And this post is my tribute to them. I would like to thank each and every one of you for being part of this little venture. I've received some delegations from them which allowed me to delegate my own full STEEM POWER to pretty much everyone who met the requirements of my latest post.

Today, I would like to ask everyone who reads this post and support my effort, to show your own appreciation to those few people who made my delegations possible. Hope you can spent few minutes and visit those accounts, follow them and show your support. Those are people worth to know:

Thank you @crypto.hype for being part of my life in Malaysia, and for supporting me since the day I got to know you.

Thank you @tysler for reaching out to me and sharing your knowledge about security tokens and your generous delegation.

Thank you @neavvy for your support. You're indeed a brilliant and intelligent teenager and I cannot wait to meet you in person once Im back to Poland.

Thank you @dynamicrypto and @culgin for being so responsive and supportive all the way. Your delegation will serve us all.

And finally, thank you @hatu for everything you did for me. I hope one day we will find ways to collaborate together. Your knowledge is out of this world.

1200 STEEM POWER IN DELEGATION? LET'S DOUBLE IT!

line2.png

Since I receive such a great support from @crypto.hype, @tysler, @neavvy, @dynamicrypto, @culgin and @hatu - I can afford to double total amount of delegated SP (up to 2400SP) without completely drying out my own profile from voting power.

How cool it is!? :) Again: BIG THX guys. I appreciate it a lot.

VOTING POWER WORTH "nothing" - few words of explanation

line2.png

Friend of mine mentioned, that delegating only 40 SP will hardly gave anyone any voting power. He pointed out, that votes will still have no value.

I would like to underline that my support have 2 reasons:

  • I would like those in need to be able create few comments and publish their post with less restrictions (RC limits),
  • I also want them to feel that there are other people out there, who cares. I know how meaningful this feeling can be.

WHEN WILL I DELEGATE THOSE SP?

line2.png

Once my previous post turns 7 days old (tomorrow) I will start delegating those STEEM POWER. I've still many comments to address and reply and it's going to take me at least several hours.

That's the price of engaging with many people. It simply takes time. So please be patient. I will help whoever I can, but my priority will be to support those who like to blog about subjects related to my interests (blockchain, crypto, AI and psychology).

Yours,
Piotr

Hi @crypto.piotr,

Your kindness has spread and infected me :D

Usually, I am just (figuratively) standing on the 'streets' of Steemit, hoping someone get a copy of my news article with my opinions in it. So today I am surprised @ravijojla, @anitacarolina and @blueeyes8960 stopped by to comment on my posts. Thank you for your support!

Before I joined Steemit, I did quite some work to make sure that STEEM, as a smart media token (SMT), is worth an investment. It is still an investment for me till today, contributing directly to its worth by actively writing quality posts on this platform.

But many have not known, STEEM is more than just Steemit. Steem has a long list of Dapps including Busy, dTube, Steem Monsters and a great community of members 'living' on this blockchain. It is already evolving the current situation of the internet into something we know as the Web 3.0.

I thank everyone who is also helping @cryto.piotr, @crypto.hype, @neavvy, @dynamicrypto, @culgin, @hatu, including everyone that has shown your support by liking or commenting on this post! It feels like an e-party with everyone here!

Signing off with joy,

-tysler

Hi @tysler

Thank you for being so responsive buddy
:)

Have a great weekend ahead,

Congrats on doubling the SP you can give away. Apparently, your idea worked. This will benefit a load of users who are in trouble! Thanks for doing this!

Indeed my idea worked out well :)

Have a great day ahead @simplymike

What an amaizing respose you have got from other steemians who understand why we are here. By helping a few we help the many. I am still unable to vote with any weight a tenth of a cent at a time but its important to keep posting in order for @steemit to raise its profile as the next big thing on the social media platform. Good luck @crypto.piotr both in steemit and your new married life. Both are going to be a great adventure.😎

Thank you @crypto.piotr for this post as well. I'm visiting each of the accounts you mentioned above to say thank you as well. Your initiative is much appreciated. If we had an entire community of people like you, and not just a few, think what a wonderful Steemit world we could have! I'm looking forward to the time when I'll be able to pay it forward myself.

Dear @blueeyes8960

I'm visiting each of the accounts you mentioned above to say thank you as well

I cannot express how grateful I am. Naturally, it matters to me to show those people that I managed to bring some valuable followers to their account

I want to create win-win scenario for everyone. Thanks to people like you it's possible.

BIG THX! :)

Great positive mindset and display of gratitude. Keep up the great work Sir, you're appreciated.

You're a valuable asset to this community!

Good my friend.

Firstly I say a big thank you to all the legends that sees good thing in community service. You are all a blessing to us.
I made a post for them so that planktons and minnows will know that some people are still interested in them
Once again I say thank you.

Great activity @crypto.piotr! You are doing a great job and it's nice that others support you with it!

Thank you for your efforts. I tried something similar a little bit ago, but had literally no response. I was only promising to delegate 20+ SP to everyone chosen though, to simply help dust. I figured I would delegate as much as 100 SP to people that seemed like they were really promising users. With the RC system, such delegation efforts are needed in my opinion, to give new accounts that show promise a leg up. Unfortunately, it seemed like no one that knew any tiny minnows or dust account worthy of delegation saw my post.

I occasionally delegate small amounts to minnows regardless, to help them have a chance. The Steemit delegation simply isn't enough for them to really have a chance at interacting like a normal user.

Thank you for your kind comment @geekpowered

I tried something similar a little bit ago, but had literally no response

That must feel discouraging :( Im sorry to hear that it didn't work out the way you wanted it.

Perhaps you could instead support my actions and delegate 100-200SP to me? This would allow me to redelegate my own SP to those in needs without draining my own voting power.

Since Im delegating 40SP per person, then your support of 100SP delegation would allow us to help 2,5 people. Or perhaps 2 people and one dwarf :)

All the best
Piotr

Whoa! I like the way the steemians are joining hands to support the community. Applaudable 👏 Thanks @crypto.hype @tysler @neavvy @dynamicrypto @culgin and @hatu ! You guys are the inspiration for this community.
