So as you guys know i am new to steemit, i have managed to gain 30 followers in under a day! now in this article i shall be giving my knowledge so far on steemit.

tip #1: interaction is key!

interaction with the community with grow you account to a substantial amount to start of with, following users, up-voting posts and commenting, all of which i shall go into detail on individually. interacting with people will show you are willing to put your all into the steemit community and will therefor draw engagement to your posts.

tip #2: Commenting well thought out posts.

commenting on peoples post is not just a one off, when you are commenting on peoples post you must think through what you are going to be commenting and proof read it afterwards to check for mistakes and so forth. comments are a powerful feature of steemit, everyone can see your comments on posts. People can also up-vote them are you can earn money just from leaving a comment! (only good ones though!)

tip #3: Be extremely active

if you only post once a day and expect to grow from nothing you are completely and utterly wrong. Steemit is a community full of loyal members, not just people wanting to make a quick bit of cash, if you have that mindset your not going to make it very far on here! i post around 5 times a day with full written articles, my posts have a lot of information in not just useless information, they are well written out and proof read before being posted, i recommend you keep the reward setting on default (50% / 50%).

Conclusion:

Altogether steemit is an amazing community, one of the best I've been a part of and that is all because of the Steem users (you guys!) id like to take a minuet to thank every single one of you for the support on my posts, from up-votes to followings. If you are looking to make some quick cash on steem i would advice you to leave.

Have a good night everyone! <3

Sort:

As far as being extremely active, I found that every time I tried to put many comments I am told I ran out of steem power and have to wait or power up. Have you had that happen?

I have yes, the only way I can find to get around it is to wait some time, as annoying as it is I don’t think it shall change.
