Visualization of accounts with high reputation / Visualisierung der Konten mit hoher Reputation
Today I have once again dealt with the visualization of data. My goal was to visualize all accounts with a higher reputation. As a lower limit I took my own reputation level. I scaled the profile picture of each of the accounts determined according to the reputation and arranged it using circle packing. The following picture is the result.
Heute habe ich mich mal wieder mit der Visualisierung von Daten beschäftigt. Mein Ziel war es, alle Accounts mit einer höheren Reputation grafisch darzustellen. Als untere Grenze habe ich meinen eigenen Reputationslevel genommen. Von jedem der ermittelten Accounts habe ich das Profilbild entsprechend der Reputation skaliert und als Kreispackung angeordnet. Das folgende Bild ist dabei herausgekommen.
How did you make this? Any special app?
I used a small Python script to determine the reputation and profile picture of all accounts. The result was then exported into a file. Afterwards I read this file with JavaScript and the D3 library again and created an image from it.

Sehr cooles Projekt. Wie hast du das genau gemacht? Schade, bin knapp rausgefallen, aber man hätte mein Bild sowieso nicht erkennen können ;) Im Übrigen ist der englische Text irgendwie doppelt.
Danke @patschwork. Ich habe mit einem kleinen Python Script zu allen Accounts die Reputation und das Profilbild ermittelt. Das Ergebnis wurden dann in eine Datei exportiert. Anschließend habe ich diese Datei mit JavaScript und der D3 Bibliothek wieder eingelesen und ein Bild daraus erzeugt.
Die Doppelung im englischen Text habe ich korrigiert.
Ah wie toll, dachte mir, dass d3 im Spiel ist, damit wollte ich auch schon lange mal was machen, hat sich nie angeboten. Danke für die Erklärung!
