Facebook Wants Its Own Crypto

How will this impact Steem? Who knows!? But the comparison to Steem will drive more people here and FB will never go to a decentralized blockchain free speech publishing platform.

Why? They were designed as a control mechanism to be the antithesis of free speech! You can straighten a dog's tail 1 million times but it will never remain straight! That is its inherent nature. It can't be changed.

So I think FB adopting crypto will be great for us here in free speech land as it will cause millions to come check us out after they hear the comparisons being made in the media between Steem and FB.

Opprtunity Knocks Once - First Impressions

We need a strong focused marketing and communications plan and message to differentiate Steem from FB and sell lurkers on staying when then come to check us out.

Censorship on FB - Google - Youtube - Twitter is their Achilles heel. People don't want it. It is Steem's core value! Play to our strength against their weakness. Steem is what everyone is looking for -- Freedom!
