RE: SteemFest2 Talks featuring Steemit CEO Ned Scott [Video]

Can we get a response from Team Steemit regarding their stance on potentially changing the linear rewards curve to something more effective (hybrid between linear and logarithmic?) as well as modifying the curation ratio and/or allowing curation percentage to be selected by users?

The general consensus of the community seems to be that the current situation is less than ideal with regards to rewards, including issues with self-voting, vote-bots, vote-selling, delegation, etc. Of course some feel there is not much issue, but could you please address this?

Many of us feel this is much more important than SMTs, communities, apps, etc. because they are fundamental issues that affect us on a daily basis as early adopters and firm believers in Steemit's potential. Hard fork 19 was a long time ago and it would be nice to get a report of Team Steemit's perspective on its successfulness.

Some of us are a bit concerned that there is a lack of "ordinary" perspective on Team Steemit, since it is mainly developers focusing on technology. Do you have regular dialogue with top witnesses and those who are moreso pure "users?" (using Steemit as content creators/ curators many hours per day.) It would be cool if there was a convenient forum for this.

Anyway, I have to say props on the improved communication as of late. These more frequent @steemitblog and @steemitdev updates are surely heartening. Much gratitude for your constant hard work and development!!!

There is quite a bit of discussion on these topics in various forums, especially surrounding #roadmap2018. I suspect Steemit will make their priorities clear when they release their roadmap.
