RE: 4 Reasons Why Steemit Is Doomed! Save Your Steem.

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

I suggest spending a little more time here. I agree with your point #1. However I think if you spend more time researching the concept, understand what it is instead of trying to fit it into an older model, you will eventually come back and see what you're missing on points 2 to 4.

@demotruk, would be great if you could point me to some great resources to understand the workings better. There is a lot of old content mixed with new changes. Hard to figure out whats actually the case. And that as well is my point. There shouldn't be room for confusion. A user should be able to get all within an hour.

Love steemit and want to see it succeed that's why I raised these points. Love to see me proven wrong.

A user only has to see Steem as a website where they can post and make rewards. The reason we have grandmothers active on this site is because it is straight forward from that perspective.

It's only the people who might invest serious money or other resources up front who need to understand it more in depth, for the sake of viability. That takes a lot more research, and while the info is out there it's not compiled in an easy format for consumption. If you have read the white paper already, I would suggest reading @dan, @dantheman and @steemitblog to see how the concept developed over time, as well as the philosophy behind it.

Some enterprising Steemian should probably write a book on the subject, but it may be out of date by the time it releases.

Its great that the platform is developing so fast and considering its in its infancy still it has come a long way. Will make sure to check them out.

Of course the idea is straight forward, I think the implementation needs some more refinement to really go mainstream.

A book is a great idea :) once steemit becomes more stable.

im learning, im learning.
