Hello, yes i agree. The whole point of the tutorial series is to show everything in a simple way, so that anyone can understand and get an idea of how everything works.
Some of these features such as decentralization, proof of work concept, democratic voting, among others are what distinguishes Bitcoin from fiat. In my opinion, they are crucial to the very definition of it. A balance has to be achieved somewhere...
