RE: Plagiarism
Good quality, original content will get more votes on Steemit. We also need more news, though, also. As long as the source is cited in the post, it is acceptable to quote from a new article or other source. What is not acceptable is to paste someone else's content and submit it as one's own without any reference (plagiarism). I am glad the community is serious about preventing this.
yea it is. But if you do the research you can see same headline. and which site coming are big site too. by the way ofcourse unique is always good. should not copy paste. but now a days rewrite also can not feel well content. and I did research that. even a original content do not get vote. example look my content : https://steemit.com/blog/@rarcntv/seo-firms . see spend so much time and write. nothing yet promote. so what I learn is some bot and whale did great job. if they vote. then earn money if not then no money. by the way thanks for given more idea.
I am concerned, @rarcntv. That's why I feel unfair when the original content does not get a great vote.
Agree. We will always monitor the accounts indicated by plagiarism in this community.
"As long as the source is cited in the post" <- exactly! I think everybody can agree that providing commentary on current events is a fine way to contribute to the steem ecosystem. It's only a problem when people just blandly link to articles, or worst of all, claim someone else's work as their own.
